In July 2005, Airbus (Beijing) Engineering Centre was inaugurated in Beijing. In June 2008, Airbus (Beijing) Engineering centre become an joint venture company. Currently, more than 150 Chinese engineers have joined the Centre with the ramp-up plan to reach 200 by the end of this year. Chinese engineers will participate in the designing work for the latest aircraft program including A350 program.
